We are long time customers of this establishment. BUT I ordered some food to be picked up , he answered the phone with hello, Not LIGHTHOUSE I asked if this was lighthouse and he said yes . I proceeded to order our food over the phone . He said 10 minutes. I was there before 10 minutes. I stood out by the register for about 3 to 4 minutes before I was acknowledged. He was polite when he greeted me. But the fish was so overcooked it was all dried up inside . The prawns where so overcooked the mushrooms where burnt and so was my fries . Probably will not be back !!

This place makes DELICIOUS and AFFORDABLE food! Yummy! Had the combo fish and chicken and chips, 10 out of 10! I wanted to try the clam chowder after but my belly was full. Very laid back atmosphere, nice staff, perfect! Will be back!

What a disappointment!!! My mistake was trusting the reviews. Being from the east coast, I had never had a chowder bread bowl made of sourdough. Gross combo! The chowder was very liquidy, NOT thick and creamy like some of the reviews said. It lacked any flavor at all. I never add salt to my food, but I had no choice in this case. And I added a ton of pepper just to “try” to flavor it up. There were maybe 3 clams total, cut into tiny pieces. And only slightly more small potato pieces. Before getting there, I told myself I’ll have to come back and try the fish and chips sometime. After seeing the complete menu of literally everything covered in batter, not just the fish and chips. And after trying the soupy chowder, I decided I won’t ever be returning. The young dude at the counter was nice, the decor was standard kitschy seafood dive, but neither are enough to be a returning customer. As someone who’s lived in Maine for many years, I was totally bummed. This place had the best reviews for seafood for Redding. Yuck!

We held my dad's celebration of life at The Lighthouse as it was his favorite place to eat. The entire crew went above and beyond with their service and in making ordering for a large crowd as easy as possible. We appreciate them allowing us to use their back room and for allowing us to host our celebration there. Everyone enjoyed their food, shocked at how big the portions were. My dad Redgy loved the fish and chips so he would absolutely recommend them and dining at The Lighthouse. Thanks again for everything!
